In this classic tale set in China, an Emperor's special friendship with a singing Nightingale is tested when she flees his beautiful porcelain palace to return to her home in the Chinese forest. Meet the citizens of China, the comedic courtiers, the charming little girl who befriends the Nightingale and the Emperor himself as they bring this fairy tale to life with the help of a fully orchestrated score.
